WikiHere policy
WikiHere Content License
Permissions and restrictions for using WikiHere text, databases, layouts, and other original material.
Effective 8 August 2026
Ownership
WikiHere and its licensors reserve all rights in the service and in original WikiHere text, editorial selection, database structure, software, tools, designs, and other protected material. No open-content license is granted unless a page expressly says otherwise.
Names, artwork, data, and other material belonging to game publishers or other third parties remain subject to their respective rights. This license covers only rights WikiHere is legally able to license.
Limited permission
- You may view public pages and use public tools for personal use.
- You may link to any public canonical page.
- You may quote a limited excerpt when reasonably necessary for commentary, criticism, discussion, or reference, with a clear link to the source page and subject to applicable law.
Restricted uses
- Do not reproduce, mirror, republish, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit a substantial part of WikiHere without written permission.
- Do not extract or reuse a substantial part of a WikiHere database or repeatedly extract smaller parts in a way that substitutes for the service.
- Do not remove attribution, rights notices, watermarks, access controls, or provenance metadata.
- Do not use WikiHere branding in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation.
APIs, embeds, and written permission
An API, feed, download, or embed may carry separate terms. Those terms control use of that interface and do not grant rights to unrelated content.
Requests for commercial reuse, syndication, datasets, or other permissions may be sent to legal@wikihere.com.
